Books

The aim of my books is to shed new light on the connection between the mouth and the body.

For years, I have been writing newspaper articles, professional publications, blogs, and web content – and in 2024, I ventured into book writing. The aim of my books is to shed new light on the connection between the mouth and the body, whether in sports, health, or everyday quality of life.

It is important to me that the professional perspective becomes more open, but perhaps even more important is for patients to recognize that we hold the power to actively shape our own health. The time has come to consciously make decisions that guide the functioning of our bodies and our future.

After 30 years of medical and research experience, my books summarize all the knowledge and insights that can help better understand how your body functions through the oral cavity. My writings address both professionals and the general public – in an accessible form, yet grounded in science. I believe that knowledge is power, and understanding leads to conscious decision-making.

First book: Győztesek Mosolya

„A Győztesek is the first Hungarian-language sports dentistry book, showcasing how the condition of the oral cavity affects athletic performance. The harmony of breathing, sleep, oral inflammation, and bite can be a decisive factor between victory and defeat. The book is not only for elite athletes but for anyone who wants to understand how conscious oral care can support both performance and overall health.”

How Does Oral Health Affect Athletic Performance?

The Smile of Champions is the first Hungarian-language book that clearly explains how closely oral health and athletic performance are connected.

Written based on 30 years of clinical experience and international research, it remains direct and inspiring: for coaches, athletes, parents, and anyone who believes that performance is not decided solely on the field.

From this book, you’ll learn:

  • How bite and teeth affect strength and endurance

  • Why breathing and sleep are crucial for recovery and focus

  • How oral inflammation or poor chewing impacts injury risk and energy levels

  • Tools and methods to consciously improve athletic performance

This is not a scientific textbook but a practical guide: through stories, case studies, and simple explanations, it helps you understand why the mouth is a key performance factor. Whether you are a professional athlete, a coach, or a health-conscious amateur, The Smile of Champions offers a new perspective: the key to success often lies—literally—in our mouths.
